Objectives
Upon completion of this course the participant will be able to:
- Review the basic neuroimaging modalities available for evaluation of acute stroke patients
- Review the current guidelines on use of neuroimaging in patient selection in acute stroke management
- Understand the indications for advanced neuroimaging techniques in management of acute stroke patients presenting within 3-hour window
- Understand the potential for use of advanced neuroimaging techniques in management of acute stroke patients presenting beyond 3-hour window
